About Brider & Co.

We started Brider & Co. after our third college move-in.

We were so excited about our first child leaving for college that we overbought. We spent twice as much as we should have, and a third of what we purchased was either useless due to space constraints, never used because it was impractical, or downright banned by the university. With our second child, we swung too far the other way and forgot the basics (we actually had to mail her pillows, a laundry hamper, and a few other essentials!). By the third child, we finally figured it out. We looked back at our first two experiences and created a checklist of exactly what every freshman needs—and absolutely nothing they don't.

Brider & Co. exists because move-in day shouldn't require three Target trips, two Amazon orders, and so much stress that you can’t enjoy the moment with your family. Let’s be honest: move-in day is a whirlwind of activity and emotion. To make the process as smooth as possible, we have curated dorm move-in boxes in three tiers: The Basics, The Comfort, and The Complete Box. Families can choose the tier that best fits their freshman’s needs, hit checkout once, and arrive on campus with everything ready to go. No mess, no stress, and definitely no missing pillows!
